The fast-rising and much talked about British quartet, Kasabian have just finished work on a first eponymous album, whose mix was taken care of by Jim Abbys, well known for his collaborations with The Music, DJ, Shadow and Unkle.
Still nostalgic for the Manchester sound, it is not surprising that the British were immediately won over by this band with their nonchalant, disdainful vocals - with their LSD-fuelled sound - grooving pop beats and bass, all accompanied by raw guitar playing. Named as the worthy heirs to The Stone Roses and Happy Mondays, Kasabian are not likely to leave us unsatisfied. Check out live in the Miles Davis Hall!
